Job Description – HR Manager

Job Timing: 5.30 PM to 2.30 AM ( Mon to Fri )

Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Summary

Meds Nexus is seeking an experienced and proactive HR Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of Human Resources for our Software Development and Medical Billing (RCM) operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing HR strategies, managing the employee lifecycle, ensuring compliance, driving employee engagement, and supporting business growth through effective people management practices.

Key Responsibilities

1. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

Lead end-to-end recruitment for Software, Medical Billing, Digital Marketing, and Corporate functions.

Develop manpower plans in coordination with departmental heads.

Design and implement effective sourcing strategies through job portals, social media, referrals, and recruitment agencies.

Conduct interviews and coordinate technical assessments.

Ensure timely hiring against approved headcount requirements.

Maintain recruitment reports, hiring metrics, and talent pipelines.

2. Employee Onboarding & Offboarding

Manage employee onboarding, orientation, and induction programs.

Ensure completion of joining documentation and compliance requirements.

Conduct exit interviews and analyze turnover trends.

Oversee clearance and final settlement processes.

3. Performance Management

Develop and administer the performance appraisal system.

Coordinate probation evaluations and confirmation processes.

Support managers in setting KPIs and performance objectives.

Identify high performers and succession planning opportunities.

4. HR Operations & Administration

Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.

Oversee attendance, leave management, and employee files.

Ensure timely issuance of employment letters, policies, and HR communications.

Develop and update HR policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

5. Employee Relations & Engagement

Address employee grievances and workplace concerns professionally.

Foster a positive and inclusive work environment.

Plan employee engagement activities and recognition initiatives.

Promote organizational values and culture.

6. Learning & Development

Identify training needs through performance reviews and business requirements.

Coordinate internal and external training programs.

Monitor employee development initiatives and training effectiveness.

7. Compensation & Benefits

Assist management in compensation benchmarking and salary structures.

Manage employee benefits administration.

Support payroll coordination by providing accurate HR data.

Recommend competitive reward and recognition practices.

8. Compliance & Policy Management

Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws and company policies.

Maintain confidentiality of employee information.

Conduct HR audits and ensure proper documentation.

Update HR policies in line with organizational and legal requirements.

9. HR Reporting & Analytics

Prepare weekly and monthly HR reports.

Monitor HR KPIs including:

Time-to-fill

Cost-per-hire

Employee turnover

Absenteeism

Retention rates

Recruitment effectiveness

Present HR insights and recommendations to senior management.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Master's degree/MBA (HR) will be preferred.

Professional HR certifications will be considered an advantage.

Experience Requirements

5–8 years of progressive HR experience, preferably within:

Software Development companies,

Medical Billing/RCM organizations, or

Healthcare IT environments.

Minimum 2–3 years in an HR leadership or managerial role.

Required Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of HR practices and labor laws.

Expertise in recruitment and talent acquisition.

Experience handling HR operations and employee relations.

Excellent interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills.

Strong communication and presentation abilities.

Data-driven decision-making and analytical skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
